According to Macrumors , the iPhone 17 Pro models are rumored to have aluminum frames, while the iPhone 15 Pro and 16 Pro will have titanium frames, and the iPhone X to 14 Pro will have stainless steel frames. The backs of the devices are said to have a "part aluminum, part glass" design.
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to feature a large rectangular camera module with rounded corners. Apple appears to be planning to keep the triangular arrangement for the rear camera lenses.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is said to have a slightly thicker design to accommodate a larger battery.
The iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to use Apple's next-generation A19 Pro chip.

All four iPhone 17 models are rumored to feature Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chips instead of Broadcom.
All four iPhone 17 models are said to feature a 24-megapixel front camera while the iPhone 16 models are said to feature a 12-megapixel front camera.
Additionally, there are rumors that a 48-megapixel telephoto camera will be available on the iPhone 17 Pro models, up from the 12-megapixel camera on the iPhone 16 Pro.
There are also rumors that 12GB of RAM will be reserved for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, followed by the iPhone 17 Pro. This upgrade will help improve Apple Intelligence performance and multitasking. Previously, all four iPhone 16 models had 8GB of RAM.
Notably, the four iPhone 17 models are said to have internal design changes to help dissipate heat better. The cooling system is expected to be on the Pro models.
Apple plans to launch the iPhone 17 series in September 2025.
