(Dan Tri) - Huawei confidently announced that the Mate 70 will be the "most powerful phone in history" that the company will launch this month. Recently, the actual images and configuration of the Mate 70 have been leaked on the Internet.
Accordingly, Tech Home - a social network account X that often posts leaked information about upcoming technology products - has just shared real images and detailed configuration of Mate 70, the high-end smartphone that Huawei is expected to launch this month.
According to Tech Home, Mate 70 will be equipped with Kirin 9100 chip developed by Huawei, manufactured on SMIC's 6nm process.
SMIC, headquartered in Shanghai, China, is the world's third largest chip maker, after TSMC (Taiwan) and Samsung Foundry (South Korea).
Huawei has been banned by the US government, forcing the company to cooperate with domestic chip manufacturers to develop new generation chips. Previously, SMIC produced 5G chips for Huawei smartphones, helping the company avoid dependence on US companies in supplying 5G chips for mobile devices.

Images posted by Tech Home show that the Kirin 9100 chip on the Mate 70 will have 8 processing cores, including a super high-performance Cortex-X1 Prime core with a maximum clock speed of 2.67GHz, 3 high-performance Cortex A-78 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.32GHz and 4 energy-saving Cortex-A55 cores with a clock speed of 2.02GHz.
The Kirin 9100 chip will likely still use the Maleoon 910 graphics processor, similar to the Kirin 9000S chip launched by Huawei last year, but will be upgraded in terms of the number of processing cores. Thus, it is likely that the Kirin 9100 chip will not have too many improvements in terms of graphics processing capabilities.
SmartPrix technology site said that Huawei will launch 2 variants of the Mate 70 series, including: basic Mate 70 and Mate 70 Pro. In which, Mate 70 will have a 6.7-inch OLED screen, 1.5K resolution (2688x1216), 12GB RAM, 256GB storage.
The Mate 70 will have a triple camera cluster on the back, with a 50-megapixel main camera, supporting optical image stabilization; a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, supporting 5x optical zoom and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The product will be equipped with a 4,750mAh battery, supporting fast charging with a capacity of up to 100W.
Huawei is said to not equip the fingerprint sensor right inside the Mate 70 screen, instead will integrate the fingerprint sensor on the side. The product will also have water and dust resistance features.
Currently, all information about the Mate 70's configuration is just rumors and there is no official announcement.
Earlier this week, Richard Yu - president of Huawei's consumer business group - wrote on his personal Weibo page a hint about the new generation phone that the company is about to launch.
"The most powerful Mate ever. See you in November," Richard Yu wrote. Although he did not mention details about the smartphone the company is about to launch, it is not difficult for the technology world to realize that Huawei is about to launch the Mate 70, the company's next generation of high-end phones.
Based on leaked information, the chip equipped on the Mate 70 has parameters that cannot be compared to the A18 chip of the iPhone 16 or the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite of Qualcomm. However, it is likely that Huawei will know how to optimize its chip to help the Mate 70 achieve strong performance, as what Chairman Richard Yu confidently declared.
