According to the newly released images, it can be seen that the new Sonata exudes a strong appearance expressed in the hood with many embossed lines. The front of the 2024 Hyundai Sonata is equipped with a strip of LED daytime running lights that runs horizontally, hugging the hood. The rectangular grille and the central air vent are separated from each other, the new LED headlights are sharper. In addition, the car also has air vents at the two corners of the front of the car, right below the headlights.
The rear of the car is also equipped with a new LED taillight cluster that runs horizontally like a strip of daytime running lights. The taillight design is quite similar to the Hyundai Accent 2023, which was recently launched in the Indian market. The car also has a new rear bumper, integrated with 2 chrome strips surrounding the reflectors. The new rims on the side of the car have a multi-spoke design, 2-tone scratched with a size of 19 inches.
In the N Line version, the 2024 Hyundai Sonata adds front bumpers, rear bumpers and 19-inch alloy wheels with a sportier 5-spoke design.
Inside the car, the 2024 Hyundai Sonata stands out with a digital clock and a central touch screen, both measuring 12.3 inches, connected together to form a block floating on the dashboard. The new steering wheel has a 3-spoke design, similar to the type used on the 2024 Hyundai Kona. Behind the steering wheel is an electronic gearshift lever similar to the new generation Hyundai Kona. A multi-color interior lighting system is equipped to enhance the experience for passengers in the car.
According to some sources, this sedan will replace the 1.6L turbo engine with a 2.5L turbo 4-cylinder engine in some markets. Meanwhile, the Sonata N Line sports version will have a maximum capacity of 290 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque, all-wheel drive. However, this is just a prediction that has not been officially announced.
Hyundai Sonata 2024 will be officially launched at the Seoul Mobility Show and New York International Auto Show. Hyundai Sonata has stopped distributing in Vietnam for a long time. However, with a new design that attracts users, it is likely that this D-class sedan will be brought back to compete with Toyota Camry, Honda Accord or Kia K5.
