Accordingly, the typical cultural event of the coffee capital of Vietnam, the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, will take place from March 9 to 13, 2025. This is a typical event of the province to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory Day, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).
The regional cultural event honoring the value of world coffee, organized by Dak Lak province every two years, has attracted thousands of domestic and international tourists to attend and experience.
Through the festival, the organizers hope to continue promoting the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee brand, developing Vietnamese specialty coffee and building the image of Buon Ma Thuot city as the "Coffee City of the World".
This is also an opportunity to honor coffee growers, processors and traders; encourage the community to join hands to foster the development of coffee culture in Dak Lak province in particular, Vietnam in general; introduce the image, potential and tourism strengths of the province; promote investment in the field of coffee processing and agricultural products in the area.

Along with that, the festival has activities carried out by the Organizing Committee such as: Digital content creation contest to promote the Coffee Festival on the internet environment; Specialized exhibition fair for coffee and OCOP products; Specialty coffee roasting competition; International trade conference - Connecting and elevating Vietnamese coffee.
Activities registered and implemented by enterprises include: Street Festival; Farmers' Competition; Light Festival; Rock Band Festival; Coffee Camp; Free Coffee; International Off-Road Car Racing Competition "Challenge of the Great Forest - Buon Don 2025"; Travel Itinerary: Buon Don Elephant Festival, Lak District Dugout Canoe Racing Festival...
Many typical cultural events of Dak Lak province will take place throughout the Festival, promising to attract the interest of tourists.
During the festival, there will be tours such as: "Coffee Journey", "Heritage Journey"; eco-tourism, culture, adventure tourism, experiencing community tourism products in villages... Besides, localities will also register cultural, sports and tourism activities to respond to the Festival.
According to the organizers, after 8 times of implementation, Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival has become a prominent event of the Vietnamese coffee industry, having a great influence in attracting thousands of coffee, material and goods production enterprises in the region and the world to participate in promoting and introducing products. At the same time, the event has left a good impression on a large number of people and tourists at home and abroad.
