On the morning of February 28, 2025, the Department of Information and Communications held a handover ceremony between the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Attending the handover ceremony were Mr. Tran Hong Tien, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Ra Lan Truong Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, along with representatives of the Department of Finance, leaders of departments, offices and related civil servants of the two departments.
Previously, on February 19, 2025, the People's Council of Dak Lak province issued Resolution No. 07/NQ-HDND on the establishment of the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Lak province; the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 370/QD-UBND on the arrangement and reorganization of the organizational structure of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Decision No. 371/QD-UBND dated February 19, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on the organizational structure of the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Lak province. Accordingly, the Department of Science and Technology was established on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology. The Department of Culture and Family Management was established on the basis of merging the Department of Culture Management with the Department of Building Cultural and Family Lifestyle; receiving the functions, tasks, and organization of the state management apparatus on information, press, and publishing from the Department of Information and Communications.
Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the two Departments acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination and preparation work of relevant agencies and units. Although in a short time, with high determination, positivity and proactiveness, a large amount of work was completed.
The two sides agreed to hand over the current status and assigned specialized departments to continue coordinating and exchanging related contents so that the handover work can be implemented closely, specifically, and in accordance with procedures and principles.
At the end of the handover ceremony, the handover minutes were approved by all parties with high consensus./.
