Establish a special task force to hand over enough land for Bien Hoa expressway

The special task force will participate in the implementation of site clearance work for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway section through Phuoc Tan ward to complete the handover next March.

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just established a special working group to carry out site clearance for Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, especially the section through Phuoc Tan ward.

Dong Nai provincial leaders inspect the progress and site clearance of key projects.

Accordingly, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center is responsible for proposing members of the special working group as well as preparing for the special working group to work directly in Phuoc Tan ward.

Assign specific tasks to each group of the working group such as: the group of site clearance for priority areas serving construction, the group of site clearance for the intersection between Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway and Vo Nguyen Giap street...

Mr. Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directly directed the special task force. The goal is to complete the site clearance for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway section through Phuoc Tan ward in March 2025.

Dong Nai province leaders also assigned the Department of Construction to inspect the capacity of contractors constructing the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway section through Bien Hoa city.

Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway section through Bien Hoa city is 6.2km long. Of which, the section through Phuoc Tan ward is about 3.4km long, with nearly 38ha of reclaimed land, including more than 30ha of land used by households and individuals. The total number of households to be cleared is more than 1,100.

Up to now, only 64% of Phuoc Tan ward has been cleared, while 13 hectares have yet to be cleared for handover to the investor. Meanwhile, according to the plan, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway must be basically completed by the end of 2025.

Currently, the biggest difficulty of Phuoc Tan ward is that it is stuck in areas of land bought and sold with handwritten documents, people with long-term land use rights, affecting resettlement arrangements.
