Over the years, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has always identified participating in building a clean and strong Party and government as one of the key tasks of the trade union organization.

Currently, in Lao Cai province, there are more than 70,000 workers, civil servants and employees (CNVCLĐ), of which the number of CNVCLĐ in units with trade union organizations directly managed by the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) is 45,580 people. Every year, the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor develops a plan to directly contact and dialogue with specialized union officials and CNVCLĐ under the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor; directs all levels of unions in the province to continue implementing the regulations on direct contact and dialogue with workers; develops plans and prepares contents for direct contact with CNVCLĐ periodically and according to each specific content on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; consults and collects opinions and contributions from union members on important policies and guidelines of the Party committee...
Unions at all levels have coordinated promptly, selected key and focused contents for comments directly related to the tasks of the province and aimed at issues of concern to union members. Thereby, timely adjusting inappropriate regulations, ensuring compliance with social life, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees.
The activities of trade union organizations in contributing ideas to Party and government building are also carried out through meetings and dialogues. In the past 10 years, trade unions at all levels in the province have organized 83 meetings and dialogues with 9,184 participants, receiving 1,353 opinions and recommendations, thereby promptly grasping the thoughts and aspirations of workers and resolving difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level. In recent years, trade unions at all levels in the province have implemented many solutions to promote the development of Party members among union members and workers. From 2013 to present, Lao Cai province's trade unions at all levels have introduced 19,320 outstanding union members to attend Party target classes, with 13,126 comrades admitted to the Party.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to effectively implement tasks and solutions, and better promote the role of trade union organizations in participating in Party and government building.
