Implementing the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program, in 2024, Bao Yen district strives to have 8 more potential and strong products of communes and towns recognized as OCOP with 3 stars or more. Expected new products to be evaluated include: Luyen Bai dried buffalo meat - Vinh Yen commune; Hung Liu roasted peanuts - Tan Duong commune; Dien Quan ornamental peach tree - Dien Quan commune; Green-skinned grapefruit - Kim Son commune; Tan Tien tea - Tan Tien commune; Fresh deer antlers; Deer antlers wine; Bao Yen bread - Pho Rang town. In 2024, Bao Yen district will continue to maintain and improve the rankings of recognized products. Strengthen at least 5 economic organizations producing and trading the district's key products. Focus on diversifying and deeply processing products according to the value chain, perfecting production organization in the direction of linking production households with cooperatives, cooperatives and enterprises. Re-evaluate 7 OCOP products that have expired for 36 months from the date of issuance according to regulations: Honey, pollen, royal jelly - Thanh Xuan Mountain Bee Development Company Limited, Bao Ha Commune; Green tea - Dai Hung Tea Company Limited, Pho Rang Town; Bao Yen Cinnamon Essential Oil, Bao Yen Lemongrass Oil - Vinh Yen Agricultural and Service Cooperative, Vinh Yen Commune; Thanh Mai Dried Frog - Thanh Son Agricultural Cooperative, Xuan Thuong Commune. Strive for 100% of OCOP products to be put on e-commerce platforms, create digital booths and have electronic payment accounts. Select an organization to act as a representative to build booths to display, introduce and sell OCOP products of the district at annual OCOP Fairs, Trade Connection Conferences and International Cooperation Forums with one product per village/commune to bring OCOP certified products of the district to domestic and international consumers. The funding requirement for implementing the OCOP Program in Bao Yen district in 2024 is 930 million VND. The implementation of bringing typical and potential agricultural products of the locality into commodities that ensure quality standards, have brands and clear origins to serve the consumption market nationwide.
