Tan Chau district leaders congratulate Chol Chnam Thmay festival

Mr. Vo Thanh Cong - Head of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Tan Chau District Party Committee presented gifts to representatives of Khmer ethnic people in Bo Ket area.

Bo Ket residential area, Tan Trung B hamlet, Tan Hung commune currently has 74 households with nearly 400 people of Khmer ethnicity. Previously, Bo Ket residential area belonged to Thanh Tan commune (Tay Ninh city) and was transferred to Tan Trung B hamlet, Tan Hung commune, Tan Chau district. People mainly grow custard apples, do farming and raise buffaloes and cows; life is quite stable.

On this occasion, Tan Chau district and Tan Hung commune presented gifts to the people and prestigious people of the Khmer ethnic group in Bo Ket area, Tan Trung hamlet, wishing them a joyful and happy new year; hoping that the Khmer ethnic group in the hamlet will continue to make more positive contributions to the locality, and strictly comply with all policies, guidelines and policies of the Party and laws of the State.
