According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the hot weather in the North, Central and Southeast regions is as follows:

April 18-19, Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot. Highest temperature: 35 - 37 degrees, some places will be over 37 degrees. Lowest relative humidity: 50 - 55%.

On April 18, the North and Southeast regions will experience localized heat. The highest temperature in some places will be over 35 degrees. On April 19, the North and Southeast regions will experience heat with the highest temperature: 35 - 36 degrees, in some places over 36 degrees. The lowest relative humidity: 55-60%.

Hot time of day is from 11am - 4pm in most areas.

The widespread heat wave in the North and from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen is likely to last until April 22. Meanwhile, the heat wave in the South may last for many days to come.

Actual outdoor temperature may be 2 - 4 degrees higher than forecast depending on the surface (concrete, asphalt).

Hot weather can cause negative impacts such as: risk of explosions, fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity; forest fires due to low humidity. In particular, the human body can become dehydrated, exhausted, and have heat stroke when exposed to the sun for a long time.
