Ha Tinh leaders offered incense, bowed respectfully, and expressed their deep gratitude to the souls of heroes and martyrs who fought bravely for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), on July 16, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, Memorial House of Martyrs of Division 968 (Quang Tri province) and the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap (Quang Binh province). Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery (Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province) is the resting place of 10,263 martyrs who fought on the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail, including 786 martyrs who are children of Ha Tinh.

The delegation of Ha Tinh province also respectfully offered flowers to express gratitude and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9 (Dong Ha City, Quang Tri). This is the resting place of 10,500 martyrs who fought and served on the Road 9 front, the Quang Tri battlefield and Laos during the resistance war against the US, including 107 martyrs from Ha Tinh. The delegation of Ha Tinh province offered incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth, bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The delegation offered incense and observed a moment of silence at the graves of martyrs from Ha Tinh at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9.

The delegation also offered incense and respectfully bowed to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Martyrs Memorial House of Division 968 - where the names and memories of 5,248 officers and soldiers of the Division were recorded and commemorated, who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and youth for the cause of national liberation and the noble international mission.
Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung, Provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Trong Hai and members of the delegation also came to offer incense and flowers at the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Vung Chua (Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province).
The delegation respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense, and observed a moment of silence to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap - an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, the eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army, who made exceptionally outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people.
