Spreading youth volunteering with Honda Vietnam

The Honda Uni Tour X Green Summer 2024 campaign, a combination of the Honda Uni Tour playground and the Green Summer volunteer activity, continues to accompany students and spread 'youthful volunteerism' to many provinces and cities.

After more than 3 weeks of launching, the program has completed 1 large project in Dong Nai and 25 meaningful projects in Nghe An, Nam Dinh, Lai Chau, Hai Duong, Ben Tre, Dong Thap... with many meaningful and useful activities.

Not only focusing on the community, Honda Vietnam also organizes activities to raise awareness and traffic culture of the young generation.

Specifically, Honda Vietnam has supported more than 3,000 volunteer students from provinces and cities, and sent cash and essential necessities to nearly 200 disadvantaged households in the localities.

Of which, more than 1,500 students were equipped with knowledge about correct driving posture, how to fasten straps, choose quality helmets...

At the same time, students also participated in a roadshow with genuine helmets from Honda Vietnam, practicing traffic safety knowledge in practice to give gifts and support the spirit of dedication to volunteers who are carrying out meaningful community activities in each locality.

In addition, volunteers also participate in first aid training, summer disease prevention, safe use of electrical equipment and many other interesting activities.

"The first time I participated in Green Summer with Honda Vietnam, I had many beautiful memories. The affection of the local people is what I cherish and am most touched by. Inauguration of 2 more major projects

Currently, the Honda Uni Tour x Green Summer 2024 journey has passed through 26 provinces and completed many interesting activities, bringing unforgettable experiences to students.

Honda Vietnam has completed a large community project in Dong Nai and will continue to bring volunteer activities and large-scale community projects to the two provinces of Quang Tri and Thai Binh with many humanitarian activities.

In mid-July, Truong Chinh Secondary School, Thanh Son Commune, Tan Phu District, Dong Nai Province "put on" a brilliant new look, ready to welcome the new school year.

At the same time, the friendly library was also rebuilt with many amenities such as books, reading tables, floor cushions and wooden cabinets, creating a spacious space for the students here.

In the next leg of the journey, the program plans to inaugurate two more key projects, deploy more activities and utility projects serving children in Quang Tri, Thai Binh and meaningful projects in many other provinces and cities in the near future.

Specifically, the company will accompany the construction of 3 playgrounds and activities for children and the elderly in Quang Tri. The project has a scale of nearly ^100m2 , and is one of the key projects that helps add color to the daily life of the people here.

Next, the "Mobile Safe Swimming Pool" project in Thai Binh province is also mentioned as one of the activities that has received attention for investment and implementation.

Honda Vietnam plans to build mobile swimming pools, mini swimming pools, smart swimming pools, as well as organize swimming classes to help children equip themselves with necessary skills and knowledge to prevent drowning.

Also in Thai Binh, it is expected that 10 sets of computers will be donated to primary schools, in order to shorten the geographical distance, so that students in remote areas have the opportunity to access the Internet and improve their knowledge when going to school. At the same time, many gifts will be given to disadvantaged children and local people.

Through the above activities, Honda Vietnam has contributed to improving the quality of life, providing more knowledge for children and local people, creating useful and memorable experiences for students.
