In May, for the first time in Vietnam, “Smart Finance” - a financial education playground for high school students will be officially launched. Upon hearing this information, as a parent, Ms. Tran Ngoc (Hanoi) expressed her joy and said that this is a useful and practical program for students. She shared that she has long admired young people abroad for knowing how to manage personal expenses, and even how to invest. However, her two children are still quite confused about how to use money. Typically, at the beginning of the new year, the children often receive a large sum of money as lucky money, but do not know how to use it properly. Currently, most of the children will leave it to their parents to keep and only use this money when they need to buy items such as shoes, clothes or books...

Not only in the case of her children, through practical contact, Ms. Ngoc realized that many young people today still lack knowledge about how to manage and spend small amounts of money reasonably, often only for personal interests instead of using them more effectively. Currently, every year, Ms. Ngoc spends her children's lucky money to buy gold with the goal of saving and preserving childhood memories.

Sharing about this playground, Editor-in-Chief of Banking Times, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Sen, said that financial books or teachings from adults sometimes do not reach the attention of children. Instead of conveying messages with dry language, if told with vivid examples close to daily life, financial lessons will become closer and more attractive to children. "Program creators need to put themselves in the shoes of students, not in the shoes of adults," Ms. Le Thi Thuy Sen shared.

Together with Banking Times, FPT Corporation will apply modern technology to create an attractive and creative playground, helping students to be interested in accessing financial knowledge. Ms. Sen also expressed her hope that the program will have a strong influence in the community, each lesson will be a solid foundation to help students improve their financial knowledge and skills.

She said that how to convey content that is both attractive, lively, and accessible while still ensuring accuracy is not an easy problem. However, with the dedication of the program creators, when the playground officially launches, it will partly meet the expectations of parents who have equipped themselves with solid financial resources from an early age.
