Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve is spread over 5 provinces: Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Lam Dong and Dak Nong with a total area of ​​hundreds of thousands of hectares. Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve is home to various types of habitats and some rare species remaining in Southern Vietnam.


Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve (KDTSQTG) is the 580th biosphere reserve in the world and one of 11 biosphere reserves in Vietnam. It is considered an extremely valuable asset of the country and the world because of its outstanding value in biodiversity.

Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve is spread across 5 provinces: Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Lam Dong and Dak Nong with a total area of ​​hundreds of thousands of hectares.

Located in the transitional area between the Central Highlands and the Southern Delta, containing typical terrain types of the Southern Truong Son, the midlands and the Southeast Delta, Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve is home to habitats and some rare species of creatures and wildlife remaining in Southern Vietnam.

Not only is it a land associated with many cultural and historical works, nature has also been very generous in bestowing Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve with extremely valuable gifts with many beautiful landscapes and valuable river, stream and lake systems such as: Bau Sau Ramsar site, Tri An lake, Rang waterfall, Troi waterfall, Ben Cu waterfall, ancient Tung tree, hundred-stem Si tree... These are the potentials for tourism development in Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve in the coming time.
