School space filled with spring colors

The most easily seen place in the days before Tet is the school campus filled with spring colors. Most schools have Tet miniatures. From apricot pots, peach branches, a couple of thatched roofs, a few banana bushes, a bamboo bridge... to some Tet cakes, a few red parallel sentences..., all aim to recreate the ancient Tet atmosphere.

Somewhere in many classrooms, the Tet atmosphere is already filled. Students nowadays "catch the trend" very quickly. Whenever they see their classmates or other schools decorating for Tet, they follow suit.

Food festival to celebrate Tet at Tay Thanh High School (HCMC)

The most bustling atmosphere these days is the festival atmosphere held in the school. A homeroom teacher of grade 6 at Au Lac Secondary School (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) said: "To create a joyful spring atmosphere for the students, the school organizes a food festival in the school and invites some singers to perform. At the same time, to educate the students about Tet, have the skills to decorate, and help their families during Tet, the school organizes a competition to decorate the five-fruit tray".

Tay Thanh High School (Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City) organized a food fair to welcome spring. Ms. Truong Tuyet Loan, in charge of the union of Tay Thanh High School, said: "This is an activity to create a more joyful atmosphere for students to welcome the new year of Giap Thin 2024, enjoying the culinary skills of teachers of subject groups. The festival introduces traditional dishes from regions in the country. After the festival, the union will collect the proceeds for a common fund, organize charity activities for the shelter, and award scholarships to children with excellent academic achievements at school."

Not only teachers, parents also accompany the school to help their children feel a meaningful Tet.
