There is no room for cheating

The entire political system is involved in the 2024 high school graduation exam. Therefore, the exam must be held in the best possible way, seriously, fairly and without any room for cheating. When everyone joins hands in determination for a fair and honest exam, it will contribute to building a quality and prestigious education system.

The 2024 high school graduation exam is an important event not only for candidates but also for the whole society. The purpose and significance of this exam is not only to recognize high school graduates and to consider university admissions, but also to evaluate the quality, efficiency and fairness of general education nationwide... thereby adjusting education policies more and more appropriately.

It can be said that the high school graduation exam is a turning point that determines the future direction of more than 1 million students across the country. Therefore, organizing the exam seriously, transparently and safely is a prerequisite to ensure fairness, quality and prestige of the education system as well as the accountability of the education sector to society regarding the quality and effectiveness of general education and whether the money spent by the whole society is commensurate or not.

For many years, the Ministry of Education and Training has made every effort to innovate exams to become more serious, high-quality, economical and safe; the number of errors and violations by candidates, supervisors and examiners has decreased significantly compared to previous years. However, looking back at the 2023 high school graduation exam, there are still regrettable and ridiculous violations of graduation exam regulations such as candidates being late, going to the wrong exam location, forgetting documents...

More seriously, candidates brought their phones into the exam room and took pictures of the exam papers and sent them out to get help from outside. This not only affects the individual candidates but can also cause great harm to the entire exam. If the exam papers are unfortunately leaked and spread on the internet, the consequences will be extremely serious.

In addition to cheating and intentionally bringing documents into the exam room, high-tech, sophisticated devices such as smartphones, tiny headphones, smart glasses, smart pens, smart watches, internet-connected calculators, or other electronic devices that can receive help from outside that are difficult to detect in the exam room are becoming increasingly popular and widely sold on the market.

Candidates need to be aware that exam discipline is very strict, always adhere to the exam time, submit the exam..., do not cheat when entering the exam room. Any cheating behavior, including the use of high technology, is difficult to hide and will be severely punished, once handled, will haunt you for many years to come.

For invigilators, in the examination room, invigilators are required to always fulfill their assigned responsibilities to ensure that the examination is fair, honest, and without bias. At the same time, they must not be subjective, but always improve their examination skills, and strictly follow the regulations of the high school graduation examination. When high technology is used for cheating, invigilators are required to be very astute and well-trained to quickly detect violations of regulations. Highly skilled invigilators can often detect cheating immediately through the unusual attitudes and gestures of candidates.

A fair, serious and honest exam is not only the responsibility of the candidates, the invigilators and the examination council, but also the responsibility of the examination boards. The examination council and the examination board need to keep the exam papers confidential, keep the candidates' exams at the highest level of security, carry out the marking fairly and accurately and not allow any cheating during this process. Do not "show affection" when marking the candidates' exams for the sake of local achievements...

To ensure that the high school graduation exam goes smoothly, without errors, and to minimize incidents, candidates need to be aware that violating exam regulations can lead to very serious consequences, even suspension from the exam, cancellation of exam results, or severe discipline.

In serious cases, candidates may be prosecuted if the cheating causes serious consequences, affecting the exam results of many people. This is a very serious warning for candidates who disregard the law and exam discipline.
