Tam Dao town is located at an altitude of 900m above sea level, about 80km from Hanoi. Not only attracting tourists in the summer, the winter on Tam Dao mountain top also has its own unique and interesting features. The dense fog makes visitors feel like they are immersed in a sea of clouds. Mr. Nguyen Duy Dung, Chairman of Tam Dao Town People's Committee, said that the town currently has more than 200 accommodation and tourism service establishments. According to Mr. Dung, although the weather has turned cold, on weekends, there are many tourists going to Tam Dao peak, the room occupancy rate is always close to 100%. "The locality is continuing to invest in and upgrade the landscape and public works to bring attraction and impression to visitors," said Mr. Dung.
