"During the research and implementation process, it is recommended that relevant agencies, units and localities pay attention to and focus on issues related to people's livelihood such as the environment; avoid situations such as localized flooding and removing protective fences due to inadequacies in opening access roads," Mr. Minh emphasized.
Previously, as reported by Giao Thong Newspaper, the Prime Minister directed research to mobilize resources to expand the entire Cam Lo - La Son route to 4 complete lanes.
The Ministry of Transport has decided to prepare a pre-feasibility study report for phase 2 expansion. Accordingly, it is expected that the entire route of more than 98km of Cam Lo - La Son expressway will be expanded to 4 lanes in phase 2 with a total investment of about 7,000 billion VND.
The Ministry of Transport also proposed that the Government allocate surplus revenue and implement the project investment according to the emergency order. If these policy mechanisms are approved, the project is expected to start construction at the end of 2024 and is expected to be basically completed in 2025.
