Inauguration of the Martyrs Temple of Duc Linh District

Comrade Phan Van Dang - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee cut the ribbon to inaugurate.

The Duc Linh District Martyrs' Temple was started in July 2022 with a total investment of 14 billion VND. The project includes the main items: The main church with a construction area of 257m2. The main space of the project includes the lobby to worship Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs. There are 1,215 martyrs being worshiped here; The garden area with a total construction area of 5,625m2, including garden items, fence gates, trees and lotus ponds. This is a project that the Party Committee and People of Duc Linh District have put a lot of effort into.

Speaking at the ceremony, Duc Linh District Party Secretary Nguyen Van Huy hoped that the Martyrs' Temple would be most effective. The district needs to have a management and preservation plan so that this place becomes an indispensable destination in the gratitude journey of every cadre, Party member and every citizen. At the same time, regular maintenance, upkeep, and construction of a clean, spacious and intimate campus landscape, showing respect for the heroic martyrs.

Immediately after the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Dang attended the meeting program to celebrate the 49th anniversary of Hoai Duc - Duc Linh Liberation Day. Attending the program were leaders of the District Party Committee, Duc Linh District People's Committee, and members of the Resistance Liaison Committee of Hoai Duc District.

In the warm and intimate atmosphere of the meeting, the delegates who fought and worked on the Hoai Duc battlefield in the past reviewed together the heroic historical days of the army and people of Duc Linh district in the resistance war against the US to save the country; reviewed the achievements 49 years after the liberation of the homeland, in order to arouse pride and continue to promote the achievements of the revolution.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Dang highly appreciated the development of Duc Linh district in recent times. Thanks to promoting the heroic tradition and glorious revolutionary qualities, Duc Linh district has mobilized the strength of the people in the socio-economic development, especially the construction of new rural areas. At the same time, he affirmed that in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to pay attention to directing and creating favorable conditions for Duc Linh district to develop further.

On this occasion, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Dang expressed his gratitude to the members of the Resistance Liaison Committee of Hoai Duc district for their dedication to the cause of national liberation. He wished the Liaison Committee to continue to uphold its tradition and organize many meaningful activities to maintain and develop the precious revolutionary tradition of the locality.
