According to analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max duo (expected to launch in 2024) will be equipped with a series of new valuable upgrades such as WiFi 7 technology or a 48MP super wide-angle lens.
WiFi 7 technology enables simultaneous sending and receiving of data across 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands. In particular, it also provides faster speeds, lower latency and more secure and stable connections.
iPhone 16 Pro continues to appear despite the iPhone 15 not being released yet. |
Currently, Apple is deploying WiFi 6E technology on a number of device lines such as iPad Pro, Mac Studio, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro and Mac Mini. It is expected that WiFi 7 technology on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max duo will provide a maximum data transfer speed 4 times faster than WiFi 6E.
Meanwhile, the ultra-wide-angle lens equipped on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be increased to 48MP resolution. This valuable upgrade is expected to help the camera capture more light, thereby improving image details in low-light environments.
On the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max duo, Apple used pixel binning technology to merge data from 4 pixels on the image sensor into a "super pixel" to improve low-light shooting capabilities. This modern technology will be applied to the ultra-wide-angle lens with the iPhone 16 Pro.
In addition, users can also take Pro RAW photos with 48MP resolution in wide-angle mode. These photos will retain more information and help users easily post-process.
