Indonesia leads Group C with 3 wins, while North Korea ranks 2nd in Group D. In theory, Indonesia is considered stronger than its opponent, but in reality, the Southeast Asian representative is completely overwhelmed. This is the biggest gap since the beginning of the 2025 AFC U17 finals. 0-6 is also the biggest defeat that Indonesia U17 has suffered in history (equal to the 1-7 loss to South Korea in 1988).

The 0-6 loss stopped Indonesia in the quarterfinals. However, by reaching the quarterfinals, they have already secured a ticket to the World Cup at the end of the year. With the young North Korean players, they will make a big battle with South Korea in the semi-finals. The winner will have a great chance to win the championship because the number one candidate Japan was eliminated early.
