On the evening of June 13, striker Huynh Nhu officially returned home after two seasons playing for Lank FC in Portugal. The striker, born in 1991, traveled for 25 hours from Portugal, then transited in Türkiye before landing at Tan Son Nhat Airport (HCMC).

Despite the long journey, Huynh Nhu was still very happy to arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport.

Mrs. Le Thi Lai - Huynh Nhu's mother could not hide her happiness at the moment of reunion. She burst into tears when Huynh Nhu appeared at the arrival gate of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Huynh Nhu's father - Mr. Huynh Thanh Liem was also radiant when his daughter returned to Vietnam.

Huynh Nhu's family was at the airport and waited for nearly 2 hours for Huynh Nhu to appear.

Huynh Nhu returned home with a special conical hat given to her by her teammates at Lank FC.

Huynh Nhu said that her teammates at Lank FC translated the wishes into Vietnamese to write on the conical hat given to her.

Before getting on the bus to return to her hometown Tra Vinh, Huynh Nhu stayed behind to answer reporters' questions. She shared: "After 2 seasons playing for Lank FC, for Nhu, every time I return to Vietnam, it always feels very special. This time, I've been away for quite a while, playing the entire season. Last year, I even returned to focus on the national team. This year, I've been away for quite a while so I miss home a lot. But I have to play 2 more play-off matches, so it's been extended for another month. I'm trying to make it more fun when I return."

Huynh Nhu has not shared her future plans yet. She said that she currently just wants to spend time resting with her family and recovering her physical strength after a stressful season with Lank FC before deciding on new plans.
