On November 29, in Da Teh town (Da Teh district, Lam Dong province), Lam Dong Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security and Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police on the organization and personnel work of the new Da Huoai District Police.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Security decided to dissolve the Da Teh District Police, Cat Tien District Police and Da Huoai District Police of Lam Dong province. At the same time, it decided to establish a new Da Huoai District Police on the basis of merging the above 3 districts.

The Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police also decided to appoint Major Dao Huy Duong (37 years old, from Thanh Hoa) as the new Chief of Da Huoai District Police. Before being appointed as the new Chief of Da Huoai District Police, Major Dao Huy Duong was the Chief of Da Huoai District Police, Deputy Chief of Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police.

The Ministry of Public Security also issued a decision to dissolve Trieu Hai Commune Police and merge them into Quang Tri Commune Police; establish Ba Gia Commune Police from the merger of Doan Ket Commune Police and Da P'Loa Commune Police; dissolve Phuoc Lap Commune Police and merge them into Ha Lam Commune Police; dissolve Da Ton Commune Police and merge them into Da Oai Commune Police.

Colonel Truong Minh Duong - Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police Department requested the leaders of the new Da Huoai District Police to quickly stabilize the situation and soon start operating to protect political security and social order and safety in the area, especially the newly merged Da Huoai District.
