In particular, focusing on the planning goal of converting production forest land with a slope of less than 10%, linking regions into farm belts outside residential areas to develop livestock and poultry farming to ensure bio-safety.
Up to now, Cam Lo district has more than 50 large and medium-sized farms that have cooperated to develop livestock farming in the form of processing for companies, mainly raising pigs and poultry.
In addition, the district has also attracted 7 high-tech livestock projects from enterprises operating in the field of large-scale livestock farming, of which 3 projects have been granted investment policies.
Linking with businesses in livestock development has brought high economic efficiency to farmers, each farm has an income of 300-500 million VND/year, some farms have an income of more than 1 billion VND/year.
