This morning (October 1), according to information from Cao Lanh City Police (Dong Thap Province), authorities are examining and conducting investigation steps to clarify the cause of the fire that occurred at ST Shop - a clothing and footwear business on Pham Huu Lau Street (Ward 6).

On the evening of September 30, people discovered heavy smoke and fire coming from the ST Shop facility rented by Ms. CTP (born in 1995) as a business establishment since 2013.

This facility sells clothes and shoes, which are flammable materials, so the fire broke out fiercely, and smoke and dust covered the entire area.

The scene of the fire is a densely populated area, near Dong Thap University, so there are many students renting rooms. People living near the scene were asked by the authorities to evacuate to ensure safety.

During the night, Cao Lanh City Police urgently coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police to mobilize specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene, deploy fire fighting plans and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent houses.

The Fire Police force connected water hoses, divided into many approaches and sprayed water to put out the fire. The Provincial Military Command also increased forces and vehicles, mobilized militia to participate in fire fighting and protect the scene.

By 10 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. Firefighters continued to spray water to cool the fire, preventing it from smoldering and flaring up again.

According to authorities, the fire did not cause any human casualties, but the fire burned down a store with an area of ​​about 250 square meters and many properties.
