Women's Union at all levels participates in building Thanh Hoa culture and people

In line with the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025 on "Building and developing Thanh Hoa culture and people to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the province and the country", the Provincial Women's Union has deployed and implemented many solutions with practical results.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Ngo Thi Hong Hao presented gifts to union officials participating in sharing experiences in implementing the movement "Building Thanh Hoa women in the new era".

To concretize and put the resolution into practice, the Provincial Women's Union has launched the emulation movement "Building Thanh Hoa women of the new era - patriotic, compassionate, self-reliant, self-reliant, and aspiring to rise up" with appropriate criteria, associated with the content of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style and mobilizing women to practice the moral qualities of "Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility". The Union has built a framework of criteria to evaluate the emulation movement, focusing on "Having knowledge, morality, health, and responsibility for oneself, family, society, and country"... In localities, the Union at all levels proactively selects specific criteria, suitable for each target group to mobilize cadres, members, and women to implement in conjunction with the emulation movement and the task of socio-economic development in localities and units.

The movement has been widely, synchronously and uniformly deployed from the province to the grassroots. Notably, it has focused on innovating content, diversifying forms of propaganda and education to raise awareness for cadres, members, women and the community about the role of women in building Thanh Hoa culture and people; educating women to preserve and promote the good traditions of the family, homeland and country, promoting a healthy lifestyle, being responsible for family and society; promoting communication so that women understand and strive to fulfill the good qualities of Vietnamese women, contributing to the implementation of the strategy of building and developing Vietnamese people in the new era.

The union levels evaluate the output of the emulation movement by the results of the implementation of tasks that have promoted the initiative of the members. Since the beginning of the term, the union levels have carried out thousands of activities, projects, and tasks to celebrate major holidays and events of the union, such as: exchanging and sharing experiences in directing and implementing the emulation movement; organizing a series of large-scale events with the participation of famous and influential people among women and in society; inviting leading experts to exchange and communicate on practical topics suitable for each group of women; holding regular thematic activities on the first Monday morning of the month; creating clips with topics aimed at training the criteria of women of the new era.

Every year, the whole province has over 950,000 cadres, members, and women studying, propagating, and training on the content of the emulation movement to raise awareness, orient content, and criteria for women to strive and practice. The associations at all levels commended over 10,000 typical examples with their talent, intelligence, and efforts, contributing to "Building Vietnamese women of the new era"; nearly 20,500 women achieved the title of "Outstanding Women"; built 1,500km of "Flower Roads - Painting Roads - Tree Rows - Green Fences"; posted signs of over 4,000 "Clean Houses - Model Gardens", "Clean Houses - Beautiful Gardens"; over 800 products made by women were introduced on the Internet; posted over 15,500 photos of "Vietnamese Families - Gathering for Tet" on the fanpage...

Along with that, 100% of the association's facilities maintain cultural, artistic, and sports activities, creating playgrounds, opportunities for exchange and expanding the sports movement. Maintaining the "Vietnamese Ao Dai" week event, organizing "Whoever needs it, take it, whoever has it, give it" and "Ao Dai/traditional costumes for Tet" booths throughout the province and giving away over 20,000 Ao Dai/traditional costumes to disadvantaged women with the association's own mark, contributing to preserving the values ​​of national cultural heritage, realizing the goal of making the value of Ao Dai become a Vietnamese cultural heritage.

With the viewpoint of "Promoting and inheriting the fine traditions of Vietnamese women" to strongly arouse the potential, creativity, self-reliance, self-strengthening, and solidarity of women; taking "Happiness and benefits of women" as the goal, the Provincial Women's Union continues to promote its core political role in women's work, building the image of Thanh Hoa women in the new era with values, qualities that are inherited, promoted and nurtured, in accordance with the traditional morality of the nation. The Provincial Women's Union promotes the image of the land, people, and culture of Thanh Hoa to domestic and international friends, contributing to protecting, preserving, and promoting the unique traditional cultural values ​​of Thanh Hoa.
