"The economic potential between Vietnam and Thailand is huge. Because the two countries have many similar cultures, the friendly relationship is very close. Since 1945, there have been many overseas Vietnamese in Thailand, forming trade relations between the two countries. Vietnamese people in Thailand have also contributed a lot to the economy, security and politics of Thailand. Currently, the two sides have a very large trade of goods. Thai products are always favored by Vietnamese people. When the tourism market develops, Vietnamese people love to travel to Thailand. People who have never been abroad want to go to Thailand for the first time, because they see Thailand as a very close country."
"The President of the Thai Chamber of Commerce also said: Trade turnover between the two countries is developing very well. Typically, I see that many corporations in Thailand are present in Vietnam. They have joint ventures and invest with Vietnamese enterprises.
The two areas that Un Women and VCCI are supporting to connect female entrepreneurs are tourism and consumer retail services. These are also areas where a large number of female entrepreneurs are present," she said.
According to Ms. Mai Thi Dieu Huyen, Thailand is very interested in stimulating tourism. They want to bring their tourism products closer to Vietnamese people. On the Vietnamese side, they want to bring traditional confectionery products to Thai tourists.

Regarding this trade promotion trip to Thailand, Ms. Huyen said: "Every time we organize promotions with businesses from other countries, there are certain results. But the programs with Thailand and Korea always have tangible results. For example, in 2022, the Women's Entrepreneurs Council coordinated with the Thai Chamber of Commerce to organize a Vietnam-Thailand business forum within the framework of the Global Women's Summit held in Bangkok. There, the parties displayed their products like a miniature fair, and many Thai businesses worked directly with Vietnamese businesses.
And today when I came to the Thai Chamber of Commerce, I was also very surprised, I did not think they would invite so many members. I felt their warmth, and I know that they also felt Vietnam's warmth, they felt Vietnam's seriousness, so they invited dignitaries, very famous businesses in their market, responsible to promote cooperation between the two countries."
