Students in Hue City and Quang Binh Province enjoyed participating in the exciting activities and bustling atmosphere at the 27th Thanh Nien Newspaper Exam Consulting booths.
On March 1-2, the Exam Season Consulting program organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper took place at Hai Ba Trung High School (Hue City) and Vo Nguyen Giap High School for the Gifted (Quang Binh).
In addition to watching live or online on many channels of Thanh Nien Newspaper such as: thanhnien.vn , Facebook.com/thanhnien and YouTube, TikTok Thanh Nien Newspaper, there is another "channel" that has created an interesting highlight, attracting students to come to, which is the consulting booths.
According to Thanh Nien reporters, many students lined up at more than 50 booths in Hue City and Quang Binh to receive direct advice from consultants, share information related to enrollment, experience exciting games, and receive gifts from universities and colleges.
FIRST TIME ATTENDING CAREER CONSULTATION AND GUIDANCE DAY
Among the nearly 10,000 students in the two regions participating in the 2025 Exam Consulting Program, there are nearly 400 students who are ethnic minorities from Quang Binh Province Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities and Hue City Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities. This is the first time these mountainous students have participated.
Student A Lieng Thao (grade 12/1, Hue City Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities) said that after participating in the program and receiving direct answers from teachers in the advisory board, and receiving thorough advice at the booths, many of Thao's initial questions about career orientation, school selection, etc. were somewhat resolved.
Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, Permanent Deputy Director of Duy Tan University, consults on enrollment information for 12th grade students at the booth.
"With a passion for being a teacher, through the program I have a very clear understanding of admission information from schools nationwide. I have had the opportunity to interact with friends from many schools in Hue City and experience many interesting activities, I really like it," Thao said.
Ho Thi Lan Anh (grade 12, Hue City Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities) said that when she and her friends heard the school's announcement that they would be able to participate in the exam season consultation session, they were very excited. "Because through the program, I learned important information and new points about this year's exam... In particular, I have chosen a university to pursue my passion for preschool teaching. I will try my best to be able to enter the university of my dreams," Lan Anh confided.
EFFECTIVE BRIDGE WITH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Holding in his hand the "blind bag" that had just been given by a Duy Tan University consultant, Bui Xuan Thien (grade 12, Dao Duy Tu High School) excitedly shared that he was very interested in the information technology industry, so he visited many booths of universities nationwide to find out information.
"This is the first time I have participated in a large-scale Exam Consulting Day, with the presence of many colleges and universities. In this bustling atmosphere, I will be determined to pursue my passion to become an IT engineer in the future," said Xuan Thien.
Students get their questions answered in the Exam Season Consulting program
On the afternoon of March 2, the booths at the Exam Season Consulting program held at Vo Nguyen Giap High School for the Gifted (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh) were in a state of "explosion" because thousands of students crowded and lined up waiting for their turn to consult. The aisles at the consulting booth were "clogged" because students were excited to participate in experiential activities such as lucky draws, drawing to receive gifts, etc.
Directly advising 12th grade students in Hue City and Quang Binh, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, Permanent Deputy Director of Duy Tan University, said that the direct consulting booth at the program is an effective bridge between the school and 12th grade students. "At the consulting booth, students have a long time to discuss and ask questions with the counselors about all issues related to enrollment... from there, they can make decisions about choosing a future career. In particular, the program is also an opportunity for final year students to have interesting experiences and make memories with friends," Dr. Vo Thanh Hai emphasized.
