Hoa Thanh: Evaluation of construction progress to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

In recent times, local authorities at all levels in Hoa Thanh town have always paid close attention, regularly propagandized, mobilized, and supported the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for policy households and poor households in the area.

According to the progress report on the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, Hoa Thanh town has 85 households that are policy families, poor households, and near-poor households in need of building new and repairing houses, of which 5 cases have land and 80 cases do not have land.

Through review, there are 7 households that no longer need support, have moved elsewhere, are not eligible or have overlapped with other programs... currently in the area there are 78 households that need to build houses.

Hoa Thanh town is implementing the construction of 73 houses in the resettlement area of ​​Long Thanh Nam commune and Truong Hoa commune for households without land. In particular, in the resettlement area of ​​Long Yen hamlet, Long Thanh Nam commune, with a total area of ​​nearly ^7,000m2 , 61 plots are arranged; up to now, there are 35 households with registration needs including: Long Thanh Nam commune 23 households, Long Hoa ward 7 households, Hiep Tan ward 5 households.

In the resettlement area of ​​Truong Cuu hamlet, Truong Hoa commune, with a total area of ​​nearly ^12,000m2 , 84 plots are arranged. Up to now, there are 38 households with registration needs, including: Long Trung ward 15 households, Long Thanh Bac 6 households; Truong Hoa commune 11 households, Truong Dong 3 households, Truong Tay 3 households.

In addition, the Town has also started construction of 5 solidarity houses for households with land; of which, 4 houses have been completed and put into use and 1 house is in the process of completion.

Hoa Thanh Town Party Secretary Tran Van Khai requested local Party committees and authorities at all levels to continue to take drastic action and soon complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area on schedule.

At the same time, review all data, regularly update the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses of your unit to propose specific implementation solutions, suitable to the actual conditions of the locality; strengthen inspection, supervision, and ensure the quality of the project; strive to complete before April 30, 2025.
