Miss Mai Phuong reveals worrying health situation?

Recently, Miss Mai Phuong - Vietnam's representative at Miss World 2023 attracted the attention of the beauty-loving community when revealing her health status during her participation in this beauty contest. According to the beauty born in 1999, she and many other contestants suffered from heat stroke due to the erratic weather in New Delhi (India). Due to the difference between the heat during the day and the cold weather late at night, the health of the Vietnamese representative was more or less affected.

During an online chat broadcast while meeting in Mumbai (India) with "Miss Boss" Pham Kim Dung - representative of the unit holding Miss World Vietnam, Miss Mai Phuong revealed: "From the first day I came to India to participate in the Miss World 2024 contest, I had difficulty breathing. It felt like someone was sitting on me. Both my roommate and I were affected."

How is Miss Mai Phuong's health before the Miss World 2024 final?

In addition, the Vietnamese representative at the Miss World 2024 contest said that not only the contestants from the Asian group but also the representatives from Europe fell ill due to not having time to adapt to the climate in India: “Many people got sick and the contestants from the European region also got sick, before that the contestants from Asia. The contestants got heat stroke while I got sick and coughed.”

Previously, due to poor health, Miss Mai Phuong was unable to sing the entire song Pray in the talent competition of the Miss World 2024 contest. In the end, the Vietnamese representative was not on the list of Top 23 Talented Beauties announced by the Miss World Organizing Committee.

In addition, at the Beauty With A Purpose presentation contest held on February 21, Miss Mai Phuong made the beauty community worried when she announced that she was suffering from a fever and cough due to a cold. "The weather in India is very cold, the contestants all have health problems and I am no exception. After the Welcome Dinner, because I was outside quite late, I got exposed to the night dew and the temperature was 16 degrees, so I had a fever and cough until today," the beauty born in 1999 shared on her personal page.

Referring to her current health situation as the Miss World 2024 finals are approaching, Miss Mai Phuong said that her health is gradually stabilizing. Although her sore throat has gone away, her voice is still not clear because she still has phlegm.

In fact, it cannot be denied that poor health has made the Vietnamese representative's performance in the competition not really outstanding. Miss Mai Phuong's highest achievement up to the time before the Miss World 2024 final was only Top 25 in the Head to Head challenge.

According to Miss Mai Phuong, the final round of Miss World 2024 will take place on March 9 at a center in Mumbai, India. The reigning Miss Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor. Currently, fans expect the Vietnamese representative to be able to win a high ranking in the final round of the Miss World 2024 contest.
