Within the framework of bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and China, the Chinese Navy's training ship Shi Jiguang visited Da Nang.
On the morning of May 23, the Chinese Navy's training ship Shi Ji Guang docked at Tien Sa port, beginning a diplomatic visit to Da Nang city. The visit of the ship's officers and sailors aims to strengthen and enhance the friendly relations in general and the relations between the two navies in particular. Attending the welcoming ceremony were representatives of the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs, the Naval Region 3 Command, the City Border Guard Command, the City Military Command, the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command, the Foreign Affairs Department - Military Region 5 Command, and representatives of the Foreign Affairs Department (Ministry of National Defense). Also welcoming the delegation were representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam and the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang. From May 23 to May 25, within the framework of the visit, the ship's commander and sailors participated in the following activities: paying courtesy visits to the Command of Military Region 5; Command of Naval Region 3; visiting some scenic spots in Da Nang city. The Thich Ke Quang ship is 163m long, 22m wide, has a full load displacement of more than 9,000 tons and a maximum speed of up to 40km/h.
The ship consists of 476 officers, sailors and cadets, led by Major General Su Dan Sinh, Political Commissar of Dalian Naval Academy, Chinese Navy.
