On November 13, at the Bac Ninh Provincial Library, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province held the opening ceremony of the Document Exhibition with the theme "Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs - Quintessence and Identity".

The event is part of a series of activities celebrating the 15th anniversary of Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk songs being recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Coming to Bac Ninh Provincial Library these days, the public and readers can admire and access many valuable documents and materials such as: Certificate of recognition of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; National candidacy dossier proposing recognition of "Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs" as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; Profile of the temple of the Quan Ho Ancestor; Profile of the Diem Village Festival heritage. Along with that are over 150 publications, books, newspapers and magazines on Quan Ho Folk Songs; Projects and research works of scientists on Quan Ho Folk Songs and 4,000 documents arranged in art book models...
The gallery also introduces to readers portraits of 154 Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Artists; film, photo, and disc documents about Quan Ho cultural activities, Quan Ho Folk Artists, Bac Ninh Festival, the art program "Returning to Quan Ho Region" over the years... to continue to honor the achievements after 15 years of implementing the commitment to UNESCO on preserving and promoting the value of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity, affirming the longevity and spread of the value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Heritage.

Also within the framework of the program, there is a discussion on "The issue of preserving and promoting the value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs in community life".
The seminar had the participation of Cultural Managers, Researchers, and Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Song Artists to exchange, discuss, and evaluate the results after 15 years of efforts and determination of the Party Committee and people of Bac Ninh province to preserve and promote the value of Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Song Heritage in contemporary life.
At the same time, it helps artisans, singers and people understand more deeply the value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk song heritage in the cultural and spiritual life of people in Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac region in the current development stage.
The exhibition of documents with the theme "Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs - Quintessence and Identity" took place at the Provincial Library from November 13-30.
