Israeli troops and Hezbollah have been fighting across the border since the Israel-Hamas war broke out in Gaza. Both sides say they do not want all-out war and are willing to engage in a diplomatic process. However, attacks have increased this week after a lull.

Two Lebanese security sources said at least seven people were killed in an Israeli strike on Hebbariyeh. The sources said the Israeli strikes appeared to target the Islamist group's relief and emergency center in the village.
In addition to tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, an ally of Hamas, Houthi forces in Yemen have also attacked ships in and around the Red Sea, and other armed groups in Iraq have attacked bases housing US forces in that country.
Hezbollah earlier on Wednesday condemned the attacks on Habbariyeh. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon killed a number of medical staff and rescue workers.
On Tuesday, other Israeli airstrikes near two towns in northeastern Lebanon killed three Hezbollah fighters, the group posted on Telegram. Israel also confirmed those strikes.
