Meanwhile, some regional sources said that Hezbollah missiles or drones hit a residential area in central Israel and caused a large fire.

Israeli media confirmed that a large fire had destroyed several houses in the Kochav Yair residential area in central Israel, but did not provide a cause. According to Israeli sources, at least eight fire brigades and four firefighting aircraft were dispatched to Kochav Yair to help put out the fire.

Meanwhile, on the Lebanese battlefield, Hebollah announced that it had eliminated 70 Israeli soldiers, destroyed 28 Merkava tanks and shot down 4 modern drones of the Israeli army, since the IDF began deploying an infantry attack campaign in Southern Lebanon on the night of September 30.

In addition, about 600 Israeli soldiers were injured and many other heavy weapons were destroyed. Regional sources assessed the information provided by Hezbollah as reliable, while the Israeli army has not commented.
