On January 25, a large number of passengers continued to flock to Tan Son Nhat International Airport to check in for flights to local airports for the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday.

The atmosphere on the first day of Tet holiday at the country's largest airport was quite bustling. Thousands of people were carrying luggage and pulling suitcases. In the halls, the station staff guided the route and lined up neatly to complete procedures.

However, delays have occurred on a series of flights of Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways... to local airports. Some flights were delayed for 4-6 hours, making passengers tired of waiting.

In addition to having to arrive at the airport early at 4am, Ms. Diem's family had to queue for an hour to check in because they had checked baggage and could not check in online.

Not only that, when she entered the quarantine area waiting to board the plane, she received a notice from Vietjet Air about the flight delay.

"I have received 4 notices about flight delays. The most recent one reported a departure date of 10:35 a.m., but I don't know if this will be the last one. There are many cases of delays like mine at the airport, everyone is tired," Ms. Diem worried.
