Ms. Tran Kim Nga, Director of External Relations of MM Mega Market Vietnam, said that the supermarket has 5 purchasing and supplying stations, 2 large warehouses in Binh Duong, and 6 B2B delivery warehouses (depots). Thanks to that, the inventory of goods can supply up to a month to the North.

The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) has also increased the amount of goods reserved for the Northern region by 3 times compared to normal days.

This system has ordered more than 200 tons of water spinach, sweet cabbage, squash, grapefruit, banana, mango... from gardeners, cooperatives, business households... and will continuously transport them from the South to the North.

At the same time, Co.opmart also increases service time; delivers online orders within the day; and discounts from 10 - 35% on many essential items to support consumers.

According to a representative of AEON Vietnam, to ensure adequate supply of goods and to help people feel secure when shopping during the flood season, the supermarket has proactively planned and worked with suppliers. Specifically, AEON in the North has increased the amount of goods ordered from suppliers by 2-3 times compared to normal days, especially for green vegetables, fresh food, frozen food, and milk of all kinds.

As for vegetables and fruits, due to increased consumer demand, AEON Vietnam transports an average of nearly ten tons per day from Da Lat to the North. “It is expected that by the end of this week, AEON Vietnam's current suppliers will still ensure sufficient supply of goods to meet people's needs. In addition, we are also expanding our supply, searching for and working with additional suppliers from neighboring provinces such as Dak Nong and Gia Lai” – Aeon Vietnam informed.
