The Green Tet - Vietnamese Gifts Fair 2025 displays and sells more than 1,000 3-5 star OCOP products, geographical indication specialties and typical rural products from 49 provinces and cities across the country.

Trust in the reputation of the market
At around 8am on January 23 (24th of the 12th lunar month), Ms. Vo Thanh Thuy Trang (living in Binh Thanh district), a regular customer of the Green Tet market , came to this year's market to shop. She quickly bought necessary items such as vegetables, safe food and health support products for Tet. "During Tet, I often go to the green market because of the bustling atmosphere, diverse goods, easy shopping and spring atmosphere. What has kept me attached to the market for many years is the kindness and friendliness of the organizers, the vendors and most of the people here" - Ms. Trang shared.

Not only Ms. Trang, many people in Ho Chi Minh City were present early in the morning to participate in the Green Tet Market - Vietnamese Gifts for the Year of the Snake 2025. This year's market gathered more than 1,000 products that meet the criteria of green - clean - fresh - safe. This is the 11th year that the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises, the Center for Business Research and Enterprise Support (BSA) and the Green Startup Program have organized the market. The event contributes to bringing safe products closer to consumers.

Typical products come from all regions such as Ha Giang mint honey, Da Lat wind-dried persimmons, Central Highlands coffee, Ben Tre coconut jam, Hoa Loc Tien Giang sand mango, along with many types of cakes, jams, vegetables, naturally dried apples and other unique agricultural products. Ms. Vu Kim Anh, deputy director of BSA Center, head of the fair's organizing committee, said that customers will not only witness OCOP products, craft village products and start-up projects from local resources, but will also certainly feel the passion and unique cultural values from each region.

Merchants are ready to welcome customers
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Thanh Viet, representative of Nhat Ngoc Cake Company Limited (Vinh Long), said that this year is the third year he has participated in the Tet market. He has prepared goods and finished arranging the booth since 6 am, ready to serve visitors.

At this year's market, he brought many local specialties such as banh chung, chao mon, chao coconut, banh pia, com gao, etc. to meet consumers' Tet shopping needs. His company produces about 500 banh chung each day to serve the market. In addition to the booth at the Tet Xanh market, the company is also present at other markets in District 8, District 6, Dam Sen and Tao Dan Park, where banh tet is also provided. "This is a decent green market. All products here are guaranteed in origin and have safety certificates for consumers. Although purchasing power this year seems weaker, I believe that this Tet will still be a prosperous season," Mr. Viet hopes.

At his booth, Mr. Tung introduced HYGIE brand herbal tea products and Sokfarm's coconut nectar products. To make it convenient for customers, he has also prepared online payment methods. Last year's Tet market, he focused on selling Sokfarm's products with a revenue of about 10 million VND per market session. "This year, the market has known more about this product, especially soy sauce and coconut nectar sugar which are being well received. Therefore, I have prepared about 200 million VND worth of goods for this market session and will add more if needed" - Mr. Tung shared.
Tet Cuisine: Blending the Flavors of Three Regions
A highlight of the fair is the culinary performances by famous chefs, bringing the culinary culture of the three regions of North - Central - South. On January 23, chef Tran Cuong Thinh - runner-up of The Golden Spoon, performed che ba ba and instructed how to wrap sticky rice.

On January 25, chef Tran Ngoc Nghia prepared the old lady's rice vermicelli served with roast pork, grilled spring rolls and lotus spring rolls. On January 26, chef Do Quang Long introduced the dish "Tet Gold Bag" - a meaningful dish for the new year to visitors.

In addition to shopping, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in interesting activities such as herbal product creation workshops. Customers can make Tet scented soap, medicinal roll-on oil or scented sachets from natural essential oils. In addition, they can also participate in folk games such as making clay figurines or listening to old stories told through vivid images.

The Green Tet Fair - Vietnamese Gifts for the Year of the Snake 2025 is scheduled to take place from January 23 to January 26, 2025 (ie December 24 - 27) at 135A Pasteur, District 3. According to the organizers, the goal of the program is to connect agricultural specialty producers with the market according to safe processes. At the same time, this is an opportunity for community businesses, buyers, and organizations supporting the community to meet and discuss market trends, new production and marketing strategies.
