On November 28, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said it had sent a document to the Department of Construction, the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone and localities to urgently inspect and strictly handle construction works that violate construction order.

According to Khanh Hoa Department of Construction, there are a total of 67 constructions in the province that violate fire prevention and fighting regulations, of which 40 constructions are licensed by the Department, and the remaining 27 constructions are licensed by the District People's Committee and the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board.

Previously, in August 2023, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council requested: "For constructions that exceed the number of floors, violate planning, or are not in accordance with construction permits... direct the Department of Construction to establish an inspection team to inspect and strictly handle new projects and constructions to prevent recurrence".
