Khanh Duy and Minh Hieu both chose Computer Science. Originally a student majoring in Mathematics, Khanh Duy said that choosing Computer Science was not only because of the current trend but also because it suited his passion for Mathematics since high school.
Meanwhile, Minh Hieu has been interested in and has been learning about programming since 8th grade, so he did not hesitate much when making the decision.
"Every summer, I turn on Youtube to watch tutorials on microchip programming and application programming. Failure in a few competitions made me determined to learn more about programming," Minh Hieu shared.
In addition to the two valedictorians, the female student with the highest admission score is Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi, a former student of Ben Tre High School for the Gifted (91.4 points), who also chose to pursue Computer Science.
