In particular, before the impact of the new US tax policy on Vietnamese goods, many enterprises in the province had opinions related to the issue of applying reciprocal taxes on Vietnamese goods exported to the US market; the State's policies to support foreign enterprises investing in Vietnam. Many enterprises also commented on the opening of export declarations, overloaded declaration software, etc. The questions and difficulties of enterprises were shared, discussed, satisfactorily answered and directly guided to resolve by the leaders of the customs branch at the conference.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of the Regional Customs Department XVI, said: The US's imposition of reciprocal taxes on Vietnam's export goods will greatly affect the export activities of enterprises, including enterprises in the provinces of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Tay Ninh. However, according to the latest information, the US will temporarily suspend reciprocal taxes with more than 75 countries for 90 days, including Vietnam. With this information, many export enterprises in the province will have more time to prepare to respond, while taking advantage of the opportunity to boost exports in the short term.

Implementing the directive of the Vietnam Customs Department, the Regional Customs Department XVI has proactively implemented many solutions to support and accompany businesses. Specifically, the department has established teams in the area to directly visit businesses with goods exported to the United States to grasp the difficulties and obstacles in the export process in order to support businesses, especially those directly affected, to overcome this difficult period.
