The whole country is joyfully looking forward to the important historical milestone - the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The highlight of the series of commemorative events is the National Celebration, Parade, and Parade in Ho Chi Minh City, along with a series of special television programs recreating the heroic journey of the nation.

On this special anniversary, Vietnam Television (VTV) will broadcast live the Anniversary Ceremony, parade - march conveying the atmosphere from Le Duan Street area, Bach Dang riverside park, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, Le Loi Street - Ho Chi Minh City.

To produce this program, the crew interviewed more than 50 historical witnesses and filmed at many locations in Vietnam and the US, providing a humane and profound perspective on the war.

In particular, the 5-episode documentary series Desire for Peace will vividly recreate the history of struggle and defense of the Fatherland of the resilient Southern land.

In addition, many unique political and artistic exchange programs will be introduced to the public during the last days of historic April.
