Also meeting were National Assembly delegates: Major General Vu Thanh Chuong, Director of the City Police Department and Mr. Tong Van Bang, Head of the Organizing Committee (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Le Anh Quan, and representatives of the city's departments, branches and sectors.

The voter contact conference was held directly and online at 21 locations in communes of Tien Lang district, with nearly 700 voters participating.

At the conference, Mr. Tong Van Bang, on behalf of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation, reported on the results of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Accordingly, the National Assembly passed 18 Laws, 21 Resolutions and gave initial opinions on 10 other draft laws; reviewed and decided on personnel work within its authority; reviewed and decided on socio-economic development plans, state budget estimates, central budget allocation plans for 2025, national target programs, important national projects and many important issues; conducted questions and answers...

At this session, the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation had 18 delegates registered to discuss in the hall, including 6 direct speeches and 12 written comments (with a total of 158 specific comments) to the Secretary General of the National Assembly and the National Assembly's Verification Committee.

At the meeting, voters of Tien Lang district expressed their high agreement with the results of the 8th Session. Especially, the National Assembly passed 2 important contents related to Hai Phong city.

Tien Lang District voters highly appreciated the activities of the National Assembly in recent times, which have been creative, effective and flexible. Many important bills and issues of the country have been discussed and approved by the National Assembly.

Voters consider the continued promotion of the restructuring of the Party and State apparatus as a revolution to streamline the State apparatus, improve the efficiency of the agencies' operations, and contribute to increasing state budget resources for development investment and social security and welfare policies.

Highly appreciating the policy of merging administrative units at district and commune levels, voters suggested that the Central Government consider continuing to have policies and mechanisms for redundant cadres, civil servants and public employees after the merger.

Voters requested the National Assembly and the Government to study and fully exploit the strengths and potentials of the Van Uc River to serve the development of the Southern Economic Zone, the new generation Free Trade Zone, Do Son South Port, and promptly resolve the problems of the coastal road project and a number of other issues...

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the City People's Committee, Mr. Le Anh Quan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee, clarified a number of opinions that voters mentioned at the conference, specifically the progress and purpose of the project to build the southern economic zone of the city, which will be built on a part of Tien Lang District, solutions to find investors to continue implementing the coastal route project to soon put the route into operation in the near future...

Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the City Party Committee, respectfully thanked and acknowledged the enthusiastic opinions of Tien Lang district voters at the meeting. He frankly shared with the district voters about the limitations and shortcomings, as well as the solutions that the city will focus on to carry out the task of socio-economic development in the coming time, along with some other contents.

The Hai Phong Secretary also affirmed that the efforts and determination to overcome difficulties of the entire Party Committee, government and people of the city are important factors for the city to maintain its growth rate at the top of the country.
