Launched in March 2022, the 2023 Provincial Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle) has attracted many professional journalists to amateur journalists to participate with 186 works in 4 categories (print, electronic, television, radio).
This is the 6th year that Ha Tinh province has organized the Journalism Award on Party Building. Compared to last year, the number of entries this year is greater, diverse in genre; rich in topics; vivid and attractive in form of expression.
In addition to the quantity and form of expression, the quality of the works has been improved, consistent in genre, and has depth in content. The works have reflected a panoramic picture of the Party building work and the political system of the province and the country. Topics of current events, of public interest, have also been reflected by the authors in an objective, comprehensive and vivid manner.
After the preliminary round, 125 works entered the provincial final round. The jury selected and decided to award prizes to 27 works, including 2 A prizes, 6 B prizes, 8 C prizes, and 11 consolation prizes (See the list of prizes HERE).
In addition, the organizing committee also commended 3 groups with outstanding achievements in implementation and participation, including Ha Tinh Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station and Provincial Police; awarded 1 subsidiary prize for the outstanding work of the oldest author; awarded 5 thematic prizes and honored 2 typical characters reflected in the work.

Accordingly, in response to the 3rd Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2023 organized by the Central Committee, Ha Tinh has 7,675 works by participating authors and groups of authors; 292 works were appraised and selected by localities and units to be sent to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; 67 works met the requirements to be sent to the Central level contest.
At the Central round, the Steering Committee of 35 provinces was honored to receive a certificate of merit for excellent collective; 1 individual was awarded the C prize in the magazine category.
Regarding the Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the first phase, 2021 - 2023, after the preliminary summary, Ha Tinh was honored to have 7 authors and groups of authors winning prizes at the Central level, including 1 A prize, 1 B prize, 2 C prizes, 3 consolation prizes; 2 collectives and 1 individual were commended by the Central Steering Committee for their outstanding achievements in propagating and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".
