Tomorrow, November 14, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Golden Ball Award 2023 - Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, will send ballots to delegates across the country.

The deadline for collecting votes is December 28, the day of the final match of the 2023 National Women's Football Championship.

Similar to previous years, the delegates invited to participate in the election include: Head coaches of the Vietnam national football teams (men), Vietnam national women's football team, Vietnam futsal team, coaches of the U23 men's team, U20 women's team; Head coaches and captains of professional men's teams, women's teams and futsal teams; leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF); football experts; press and media agencies nationwide...

V-League 2023 playground plays an important role in the voting for the categories of the Vietnam Golden Ball award this year.

The voting started right at the time when the Vietnamese team left for the Philippines to prepare for the opening match of the second qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup in Asia (taking place on the evening of November 16). This is considered to contribute to encouraging the spirit of the Vietnamese players when we have 2 matches with the Philippines and Iraq in the qualifying round in November, both of which are important matches.

In the last days of 2023, there are still many important matches in the domestic championships besides the 2 World Cup qualifying matches of the Vietnam team. That is the 2023 National Women's Football Championship (ending on December 28), the tournament that closes a busy year for Vietnamese women's football with a series of international tournaments.
