(Dan Tri) - Google Vietnam LLC will officially start operating from April 2025. The company will be the unit that signs contracts, creates service invoices, and calculates value added tax for customers in Vietnam.
Google's website updated information that domestic advertisers will carry out tax procedures through Google Vietnam Company Limited, replacing the previous Google Asia Pacific. The transition will be implemented from April 1, 2025.
According to the announcement, Google Vietnam will be the unit that signs the contract and issues invoices for the service. The company will also charge 10% value added tax on services provided to customers in Vietnam.
At the same time, from March 1, 2025, partners who become customers of any products listed in the Vietnam section, Google Vietnam Company Limited will be the official responsible partner.

Google Vietnam Company Limited was established on May 31, 2023, with the international name Google Vietnam Company Limited, managed by the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department and last updated its tax code on December 3.
The company's main lines of business are advertising, along with general wholesale, management consulting, market research and public opinion polling.
The e-Conomy SEA 2024 report released by Google, Temasek and Bain & Company in November showed that Vietnam's gross merchandise value (GMV) is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 16%, reaching US$36 billion.
Vietnam is considered by Google to be a market with a strongly developing digital economy, among the top in Southeast Asia. Vietnam's online media industry has a compound growth rate of 14% compared to the same period last year and is expected to reach 11 billion USD by 2030.
