To make it easier to access a career path in generative AI, the Google Cloud Skills Accelerator has updated its skills development training options.

Specifically, the Generative AI learning path for non-specialists is completely free and takes only 2 hours to complete. This path includes online courses that help learners understand the difference between Generative AI and other types of AI, as well as how to apply AI responsibly.

In addition, there is a new Generative AI learning path for developers, aimed at application developers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists. It combines technical hands-on sessions and advanced courses that require Google Cloud credits to complete. The path is designed to help engineering practitioners build their skills in diffusion models, encoder-decoder architectures, Transformer architectures, as well as customizing generative AI models for applications and more.

“AI, and specifically generative AI, will have a profound impact on communities and commerce,” said Nguyen Duc Toan, Managing Director of Google Cloud in Vietnam. “By providing the latest skills training options, developer-friendly AI models and tools, and support for startups in Vietnam, we are reinforcing our commitment to empowering organizations of all sizes to build and deploy enterprise-grade generative AI applications.”

In parallel, to further support startups from seed to Series A in Vietnam using AI as a core technology to develop key products or solutions, Google Cloud has expanded the Google Cloud for Startups Program to provide benefits to AI-first startups.

The Google Cloud for AI Startups program is now available to cover up to $350,000 in cloud costs over two years. For pre-seed stage AI-first startups, the program offers up to $2,000 in Google Cloud credits to fund the development of their first prototype and to introduce their product to investors and potential customers...
