Preserving and promoting the singing tune of Dam Quyen Son
Dam singing or Dam singing is a unique singing and dancing form that only exists in Quyen Son village, Thi Son commune, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province. Over hundreds of years, Dam singing with its own unique features has been preserved and kept by the people of Thi Son from generation to generation. Up to now, Dam singing melodies have been introduced by artists to many countries around the world, contributing to promoting and nurturing the spiritual and mental values of the people here as well as the treasure of Vietnamese folk culture.
