Training for Cao Lan ethnic folk culture clubs

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province recently collaborated with the People's Committee of Minh Phu commune, Doan Hung district, to organize a training course on establishing folk culture clubs for the Cao Lan ethnic group.

Cultural officials and artisans, along with trainees, participated in the training course.

Over 60 participants, including village elders, influential figures, and cultural leaders from residential areas in Minh Phu commune, attended the Cao Lan ethnic cultural club training course. Over the course of one week, the participants received instruction and guidance from cultural officials and artisans on basic knowledge and skills related to organizing, operating, and maintaining club activities, as well as skills in developing cultural programs, writing introductions, and teaching traditional Cao Lan songs and dances such as Sinh Ca singing, the "Gau" bird dance, the "Xuc Tep" shrimp dance, and the "Cau Mua" dance.

The cultural and artistic group practiced the traditional dances of the Cao Lan ethnic group.

The training course is a practical activity that contributes to the effective implementation of Project 6 of the National Target Program for socio -economic development with ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030. At the same time, it helps key cultural and artistic figures in Minh Phu commune develop ideas for choreographing and staging programs, and improve their skills in performing the traditional dances of the Cao Lan ethnic group. This contributes to preserving and maintaining the ethnic cultural identity and developing the cultural and artistic movement at the grassroots level.
