The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just coordinated with the People's Committee of Minh Phu commune, Doan Hung district to organize a training course on building a Cao Lan ethnic folk cultural club.

The Cao Lan ethnic cultural activity club training course had more than 60 students who were village elders, prestigious people, and cultural cores of residential areas in Minh Phu commune. During 1 week, the students were exchanged, imparted and supplemented with basic knowledge and skills on organizing, operating, maintaining club activities, skills in building cultural programs, writing introductions, and teaching ancient singing and dancing melodies of the Cao Lan ethnic group such as: Sinh ca singing, chim gau dancing, shrimp shoveling dancing, and praying for harvest dancing, etc. by cultural officers and artisans.

The training course is a practical activity, contributing to the effective implementation of Project 6 of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development with Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2030. At the same time, it helps the cultural and artistic cores of Minh Phu commune to develop choreographic ideas, stage programs, and improve dancing skills of the ancient dances of the Cao Lan ethnic group. Thereby, contributing to preserving and maintaining the national cultural identity and developing the cultural and artistic movement at the grassroots level.
