At the ceremony, Major General Pham Quang Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van, Director of Son La Provincial Police, to take up the position of Commander of the Mobile Police from November 6.
Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van was born in 1976, from Phu Tho. He has a doctorate in law, a degree in police investigation from the People's Police University, and a senior degree in political theory.
The new Commander of the Mobile Police Command has held the positions of deputy head of department, head of department, head of district police; Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police. From November 2019 to October 2024, Mr. Van was Director of Son La Provincial Police.
Previously, in early September, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van's predecessor, Major General Le Ngoc Chau, was mobilized and appointed by the Secretariat to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.
