Provincial Citizen Reception Council periodically receives citizens in February 2025

On February 17, at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office, the Provincial Citizen Reception Council held a regular monthly citizen reception in February to directly dialogue and handle citizens' comments and recommendations. The reception was chaired by comrades: Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the reception, after listening to citizens' suggestions and opinions of members of the Provincial Citizen Reception Council, as well as studying relevant documents and legal bases, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Citizen Reception Council gave directions on resolving a number of specific cases.

Regarding the case of citizen Hoang Thi Hong, Hong Phong area, Ninh Duong ward (Mong Cai city), who requested to maintain the limit of 400m2 of residential land and grant additional land to meet the limit of 800m2 of residential land (the land plot belongs to the GPMB power project of the Urban Area in Ninh Duong ward, Mong Cai city (Phase 1), through discussion between the Provincial Citizen Reception Council and the citizen, the Provincial Citizen Reception Council assigned the People's Committee of Mong Cai city to review and verify all documents of land use origin to resolve at the right time to enjoy the right residential land limit according to the provisions of law. The People's Committee of Mong Cai city should promptly organize a dialogue with the citizen and report the settlement results before March 12, 2025; request Ms. Hoang Thi Hong to coordinate and provide complete documents for the People's Committee of Mong Cai city to consider and resolve.

Regarding the petition of citizen Vu Dinh Tang, Yet Kieu 5 area, Tran Hung Dao ward, Ha Long city, petitioning about the family's land being recovered due to landslides affected by the Ocean Park project from October 2021 to June 6, 2024, the resettlement lottery was drawn but up to now, 530 million VND in compensation has not been received, on the basis of discussions with citizens and reports from Ha Long city, the Provincial Citizen Reception Council assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and Ha Long City People's Committee to organize direct work with Ha Long Sun Company Limited to agree on a plan to completely resolve the content of the citizen's petition; report the settlement results to the Provincial Citizen Reception Council before March 15, 2025. At the same time, it is requested that Ha Long City People's Committee continue to urge the Company to coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve in accordance with the provisions of law.
